William Brewster's Descendants

My name is Michael Heintz. I have genealogical information on William Brewster's lineage. William Brewster is the person responsible for bringing the Pilgrims to America on the Mayflower. I have a family tree which has much information, names, and dates I would like to share with any relative. My ancestry is as follows: William Brewster and Maude Mann, William Brewster(1535-1590)and Mary Smythe, Elder (Deacon) William Brewster (1567-1644)and Mary Wentworth (or Worrall)(d. 1627), Love Brewster (1611-1651) and Sarah Collier (1615-1691), Deacon William Brewster(1645-1723) and Lydia Partridge (d.1742), William Brewster(1683-1768) and Hopestill Wadsworth(1687-1773), Captain Elisha Brewster (1715-1789) and Lucy Yoemans (1722-1775), Sarah Brewster (1754-1827) and Deacon Oliver Wetmore (1752-1798), Chauncey Edwards Wetmore (1790-1872) and Rebecca Hubbard (1795-1885), Harriet Wetmore (1823-1901) and John Wesley Jones (1821-1899), Walter Brewster Jones (1856-1939) Annie Katharine Hall (1863-1930), Ruth Gleason Jones (1900-1989) and Jacob Heintz (1890-1957), Walter G. Heintz (1927-) and Beatrice  (1927-), Michael Heintz  and Patricia  (1957-) ,sons Adam Brewster Heintz (1982-) and Tiffany Pino (1983), Patrick Michael Heintz (1985-) and Eric Walter Heintz (1992-).

I have done some research into some other branches of the Brewster lineage. If you are a descendent and are interested in your ancestors I may be able to assist you at finding source material. The reference book I use was published in 1904.  If you can get me names of ancestors born before 1900, maiden names too, I can see if your names are in the records.  Feel free to contact me or just to say Hi if you are a long lost cousin.

I purchased a book on the Brewster Genealogy from 1500-1900 (about $200.00). It has many facts in it about different family members. Some of you who have emailed me about lineage I have been able to help with documentation others I have not sorry to say. The Genealogy is 1400 pages about many of the Brewster families and descendants. Unfortunately some of the lines do end abruptly because information about that line was probably not available to the author. If you are interested in Genealogical references from New England and elsewhere click on HIGGINSON BOOK CO

The Brewster Genealogy book is also available now on PDF for about $20.00 and it is an exact copy of the book by Emma C. Brewster Jones.  The company is GenealogyCDs.com and you can also find it on ebay sometimes.

For those of you who would like a biography on William Brewster I have found that a wonderful book on his life is still in print. "Pilgrim: A Biography of William Brewster" by Mary Sherwood can be ordered on Amazon.com, just click on the link here.  This is a great book about the life of William and the world events which helped shape this compassionate man.

Another book of interest is "Mayflower" by Nathaniel Philbrick.  This is an awesome read.  Our ancestors were not always the most peaceable people.  The story is about the trip to America and the relationship between the settlers and the native Americans.  It also goes greatly into the King Phillips War which is passed over in American history.  I highly recommend this book, much research was done for it.  The link will take you to Amazon where you can purchase the book.

Family Search now is on line with their famous genealogical data click on the highlighted text.

Another source of interest is the Ellis Island Web Site.  I have spent hours looking at records from other relatives of mine.  Click on the highlighted text for a link to it.

Here is another link that has Brewster information that is helpful about Fear and Issac Allerton as well as William's parents etc.  http://xpda.com/family/default.htm?page=family-WilliamBrewsterAndMaudMann-fam558232018.htm
